The Maglia Nera windproof vest is the ultimate bit of versatile kit. Perfect for the Northern European weather, you won't want to leave the house without it! We're thrilled to be working with our friends Attacus Custom on the newly designed La Maglia Nera 2.0 kit, and we know you're going to love it.
Why 'Maglia Nera', you ask? At the Giro d'Italia the last placed rider is awarded the 'Maglia Nera' (black jersey) for finishing in last place. It's a huge honour, meaning they haven't had to drop out or abandon the race. It is our core philosophy that no one is ever dropped or left behind, even if you are in last place or at the back of the group! Somehow, the 'Maglia Nera' felt right as the name of our club kit!
This pre-order closes on Thursday 15th July at 9AM UK time. All jerseys will be made to order, and are expected to arrive at Attacus HQ in late October They will then be posted via Royal Mail First Class inside the UK or Royal Mail International Tracked outside of the UK. Delivery times will vary depending on location..

“Whether you call it a vest or a gilet, this packable windproof layer is a godsend for spring and autumn when temperatures can vary from hour to hour. The front is made with a lightweight, windproof fabric which contains a membrane barrier that repels cold air and water, while allowing warm air to continue circulating around your core. The back is made of a lightweight stretch mesh which helps with pocket access as well as ventilation. It’s a great piece of kit to stick in your jersey pocket and call on when the temperature drops.”

Images shown are digital representations of what the jersey will look like. The final design may alter slightly.
While we do our best to accurately display the true colours of our garments in all photography on our website, sometimes the actual colour may vary in real life. This is because every computer/phone monitor has a different capability to display colours, and that everyone sees these colours differently.

RETURNS OF CUSTOM AND PRE-ORDERED GOODS
For custom-made items, and items bought via a pre-order, each product will be made based on your specific order. We can therefore only accept returns if:
a) You receive a different product to that which you ordered (the wrong size, for instance); or
b) The product is faulty.

Men's Size Guide
The technical fabrics in this vest are designed for movement, and will naturally stretch. It's why you may find you fit into more than one size bracket. So to help you find the best fit for you, we recommend you follow the steps below.
HOW TO MEASURE UP
CHEST: Start by measuring your chest all the way around at the fullest part with your arms by your sides. Don't rely on your shirt or suit size. Then use this number to see which size options you fall into from our size chart below.
BELLY: Next, measure your belly/waist all the way around at the fullest part. This'll usually be around your belly button. Don't rely on your jeans or trousers waist size. Then use this number to see where you fall on our size chart. If your chest and belly measurements put you in two different size brackets, we'd recommend opting for the larger size.
ZIP LENGTH: Use the number in the zip length column to work out how each size will fit on you, and make sure you're happy with the length. Keep in mind that our Foundation Vest has a high collar, so the zip will start just below your chin.
FIT: Do you fall into more than one size bracket? Then we'd recommend considering how you want your kit to fit. Do you like it close fitting? Or prefer it a little looser? Make sure your chosen size selection reflects how you like to wear it.
- STILL IN DOUBT? GET IN TOUCH: If you're still unsure, email us on email@example.com and we'll be happy to assist you. We'll always start by asking if you've measured yourself and where your measurements put you on our size chart, so it's definitely worth doing this first. We may then be able to offer a bit of extra guidance on how it'll fit.
